SHREE SETIDEVI BASIC SCHOOL
On 2 Aug 2019, Sahara Samuha Nepal Visited ``Shree Setidevi Basic School`` to distribute Study and extra activity Materials to the deprived students of the school, which was contributed by an association in France, namely ``LES MAINS OUVERTES``. Under the leadership of the treasurer of Sahara Samuha Nepal, Ms. Phudoma Sherpa and assisted by Admin Officer Mr. Wangchhe Sherpa, Sahara Samuha Nepal was more than delighted to be the channel between the French Association and the School and to be able to be a part of this good cause.
Shree Setidevi Basic School, despite being inside the Kathmandu Valley, is in a very critical condition, so were the students. Almost all the students comes from very low income family background. Due to their financial condition their parents would rather send them to work than to the school, which has resulted in very less number of students attending the school. Each student were provided with School bag, text books, pen, pensils, sharpeners and eraser and also some extra activities material like carrom board sets, ludo sets and whiteboards. ``LES MAINS OURVETES`` and ``Sahara Samuha Nepal`` shared a likely vision to try and ecourage more students to attend school and gain education in the future through this kind of programs.
